A research driven organisation, Indigo Seeds Private Limited is a pioneer and dynamic agricultural company delivering high quality seeds for the global seeds market with number of products ranging from vegetables, cereals, pulses, oil seedsand fodder crops. Our R&D activities and research centres are recognized by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Govt. of India.
It was established in 2007 with the dream of young agricultural professionals Mr. M.S. Amarnath and Mr. N. Maheswara Reddy having a vision to emerge as one of the biggest technologies driven agri-based company and to achieve significant presence in global seed Industry by providing latest technologies for the socio-economic growth of the farmers. We are focused to improve and development of high yielding, short duration, biotic and abiotic stress resistant and nutritionally enriched varieties in targeted crops, suitable for all agroclimatic zones and further to produce and supply high quality seed.
Company started its R&D activities at Kurnool (Andhra Pradesh) since 2009 with some related activities at Malasandra R&D farm. Since 2018, company has shifted its total Research and Development activities at Malasandra, Bagepalli (Karnataka) which is approximate 25 acresland and equipped with highly qualified R&D staff and advanced equipment, needed to deliver the innovative products. Production unit has well experienced and qualified staff to ensure the procurement of quality seed as per seed laws and seed certification standards. Company has established three processing unit at Chikkaballapur (Karnataka), Hyderabad (Telangana) and Kurnool (Andhra Pradesh) and well-equipped germination lab. Indigo is associated with a network of over 1500 distributors and dealers spread across the country.
